“By far our favorite vacation!” Family Camp is a special place where adults and children alike can learn new skills, share new experiences, make friends, and develop an appreciation for the outdoors. The Medomak experience is a hybrid between a traditional New England summer camp and an all-inclusive family vacation.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served family-style in our farmhouse dining room, and are prepared in small batches, from scratch, using only fresh ingredients.
- We have lobster dinners once a week.
- Fresh fruit is available in the dining room all day.
- Snack at the Waterfront every afternoon.
- Hot coffee and tea are always on in the dining hall.
We are committed to using fresh produce and other products produced by local farmers and makers. Much of our salads, vegetables, and herbs come straight from local farmers of Knox County. We strive to make sure that our food is not only healthy, but hearty and excellent. And, of course, there is our abundant Medomak blueberry patch. Blueberry pancakes anyone?
a place to get comfortable
lodging
Each one-room cabin has a bathroom, two sinks and a separate shower. Simply put, our cabins are simple, in the New England tradition. Cabins are supplied with linens and towels for each guest.
There are creature comforts like reading lights, rocking chairs, comfortable beds (queen mattress and box spring for the parents/twin mattresses for the kids), and a writing table. Outside each cabin, you will find two adirondack chairs to enjoy the warm days and a good book.

9:30-12:30 Three 1 hour activities with Peer Groups
12:30 p.m. Lunch!
Think sandwiches, wraps, soups & salads
2:00-5:00 p.m. Waterfront Opens for the Afternoon- Swim, Canoe, Kayak, Sail, PLAY!
Don’t miss the 3:00 Art Project!
6:30 p.m. Dinner is Served-
Delicious food for kids and adults
7:30ish p.m. Evening Activity-
All together now! Bingo, Barn Dance, and beyond!
8:30ish p.m. Campfire!

We want you to be comfortable, dry and warm/cool during your stay. Given the weather variables in Maine, you should be prepared for warm days, cool evenings, and on occasion, a rain shower.
We provide all activity equipment. We also provide life jackets for boating. If you have an infant or small child who has their own life jacket, you should bring it with you to ensure that their size is available.
