Packing List

We want you to be comfortable, dry and warm/cool during your stay. Given the weather variables in Maine, you should be prepared for warm days, cool evenings, and on occasion, a rain shower.

We provide linens and towels!

Insect repellent
Suntan lotion

Swiss army knife

Laundry bag
Day pack
Water bottles
We have tennis rackets and fishing poles but if you have a favorite bring it along.

Long sleeve shirt
Long pants
Bathing suits
Raincoat or poncho
Light jacket
Water shoes/water sandals
Teva-type sandals

Some campers prefer to send their belongings ahead of them. We have found this is great solution for certain modes of travel with families (especially if Medomak is only one stopping point of an extended vacation or if small children and multiple flights are involved!). You may send packages to "Medomak Camp" via either the U.S. Mail or Federal Express and we will be happy to receive them and ship them out after your stay. Our mailing address is on our Contact Us page and we are well known by either service. Because this is a rural area please allow 10 days for your package to arrive.

We provide boating equipment, fishing rods, tennis rackets, basketballs, and volleyballs. We also provide life jackets for boating. If you have an infant or small child who has their own life jacket, you should bring it with you to insure that their size is available.

"We had the perfect family vacation at Medomak...Everyone is so sad to leave what my littlest kids have called our new home. We have never had a family vacation like this and it is one we will never forget. We made incredible new friends and from the first day it felt like we were part of a family. The memories we made here will last a lifetime and we hope to come back and make more memories and more new friends."
