Outdoor adventure week, facilitated by the one and only Peter Bosma, will offer programming (in addition to our regular family camp program) designed to help you get closer to the natural world. Campers can learn about primitive and traditional skills such as fire craft and fire by friction, edible and useful plants of the Northeast as well as engaging in hands-on explorations of the camp property and the lake.
An optional 1-2 night trip in the woods is available for interested teenagers, as well.
Peter was an instructor at Medomak Camp for 5 years and now teaches a course in traditional outdoor skills at Northern Michigan University. His love of the outdoor world is evident and his knowledge is expansive, but what really makes Peter so unique is his down-to-earth, easy-going, friendly, and approachable personality.
This is a perfect week for lover's of the outdoors, teenagers looking for something cool just for them and for people who just love Peter Bosma!

We had a marvelous week filled with great activities as well as great conversation. This truly is a special place. The kind you can't wait to turn your friends on to. The counselors were absolutely fabulous with the kids which made the week a great vacation for the parents. Truly from the entire family we thank you for an extraordinary week.
